Due to repairs the outdoor pool is closed.
Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances the outdoor pool at Melton Waves is CLOSED. Here at BlueFit we pride ourselves on keeping the local community safe, therefore the Melton Waves outdoor pool will remain closed until further notice. Once we have established that it is safe to re-open the pool we will notify all members via our social media platforms.
We have received the following statement from our partners, Melton City Council:
‘The outdoor pool at Melton Waves has had to be closed unexpectedly so that we can undertake some repairs to the pool floor. This week some damage was discovered and together with Melton Waves’ operator BlueFit, Council is doing everything we can to ensure the outdoor pool can be enjoyed by everyone again very soon.
Repairs will be scheduled as soon as possible and the pool will remain closed until they are complete. We would like to reassure pool users that this is a priority and we’ll provide an update when we have more information.
The indoor pools at Melton Waves will remain open for use for lap swimming, swimming lessons, and recreational use.’
